I have done some planning for my basic Bactrian Greek army.  A 20 unit force ( no Indian allies, they can come later)  I can complete from figures I have in the lead pile already. Already have 5 units painted too. One thing I am missing is eastern looking generals, have to look through what there is for Selucids I guess.

I've only got one proper eastern looking one. will be doing the first bit of the Indian bases tomorrow. Have to sort out the chariots and fill the Ellies.

When should we both aim to have 20 units ready for the tabletop? There's nothing like a deadline to focus the mind!

I've got about that in Indians already,  Got half a dozen generic 'Eastern' cavalry plus various other 'easterners' as well.  Say September, then I can have a think on the makeup I want in my bit.  Give Jim time to join in as well.

Ulp! That might be a push. Something to aim for though!

Don't think Jim is really into ancients enough to " join". He has the Gallatians for the start of a Selucid(?)army.  Although India and Bactria were cut off by the Parthians for most of its history. That would be the army to have!  Horse archers and cataphracts to fling in mindlessly!
