As next year is the 600th anniversary of the battle of Agincourt, do you think we should do a refight ?

Handily,St Crispins Day (Oct 25th) is a Sunday in 2015 so it could be included in our normal series of games.

Good plan. We have the figures. Just need to work out how big a table we can use to decide on the scale.

Welcome back Nick, everything OK ?

Might be a small spanner in the works as Julie is talking about going to France and bowing down some random Frenchmen ! Obviously taking back what is rightfully ours is a laudable aim but might be frowned upon in legal circles.

Seriously, the idea of re-creating the arrow storm of Agincourt has it's plus points, not least of which is a weekend in France !  If we can't do it on the day then shortly before or after would suit me, we've got over a year to work it out.

Hi guys this isnt my 'choice' of period, so i have no figures of the period, however i,m more than willing to help out if you need an extra pair of hands? Would you be planning a 'historical, as it happened refight'or a 'what if they had run out of arrows' (or similar) version. Feel free to let me know what i could do to help?

Always happy to have another general, particularly if you are willing to help lead the French to their doom! :D  There are a number of"what ifs" for the battle, if the French had had the leadership to stick with the plan proposed previously, or any plan at all, it might have ended rather badly for the English.
