Wargame Warrior

Looking at the Persian representations of the Indians on their borders (presumably so, as they seem to be offering tribute,) they don't look much like the "wargame standard" Indians from the period. Duncan Head does mention some that were influenced by Persian / Greek styles. As I have found a bunch of heads like this:

These look like a reasonable match for the Persian representations; middle row (from the Apadana palace in Persepolis) are apparently Indians:

I will give one a try with maybe a plastic Mahdist body. It will give me a different take on Indians for at least one unit (and I can use them for all sorts of eastern Achaemenid troops too.)
