so who went?, what did you buy if anything? etc etc

for my part i bought the last six remaining vickers HMG teams for my 28mm british, some counters for use with DH/C7B and since my dice were stolen from the shed last year along with julies nice red dice bag :( alot of new dice as replacements (mainly D10 as DH/C7B uses D10.).

this years show seemed alot less crowded than last year. you could actually walk around and browse each stall right away rather than like last year where each stall was 3 deep for about the 1st 2-3 hours. good for us, probably bad for traders.

i did see some nice display/participation games and some good scenery too most especially a 54 mm looked napoleonic but apparently was seven years war (now i really SHOULD know the difference but my opinion was formed on a passing look of ooh they look shiney (there were loads of them on a big table. very impressive at 54mm scale)

It was nice to catch up with friends  but the show seems more and more SF / fantasy dominated to me.  I had some discounted stuff to collect from 1st Corps (Bactrian Greek cavalry and Eastern European buildings)  or I probably wouldn't have gone. Cannot see myself going next year so must make the effort to see a few other shows...
