I have weakened and fallen by the wayside. I have pledged to the Ebor kickstarter so I will now have 3ish battalions of Swedes...

Just looked at the project, would definitely be interested in the Danes, might be tempted here. Paid off the extras for 1889 last night so should have that available in the new year. Why did we get interested in this period ?

They are supposed to be good. I've got the Tim Harris books - Restoration : Charles II and his kingdoms & Revolution : The crisis of the Monarchy, somewhere. Covers all the period up to 1720, more from a political angle, but gives an insight into the problems about at the time. Can we interest someone else in this or are we going it alone in collecting the armies of Europe ?

A good point you make there. If Nick did a bit of rebasing and a few additions to his Ottoman Turks we could do some interesting 1680s games with our figures standing in as Austrians/Imperial/ Allied troops.

That'd look really cool ! Couldn't the SYW in India cavalry be used at a pinch as well ? Some kind of Moslem type cavalry with the Turks ? Poles would be cool to lose to the Turnips. Are you going to get Karpus or Tricorn, besy get organised early.
